The Slimer Dude Is Back

I boarded the plane to leave Lima and Peru. It would be another day before I would set foot in Blightly but still, I knew this marked the end of my adventures.

Nestled in the comfort of the cosy plane seat I had a lot to mull over. Not knowing if I would withstand foreign hardships for more than 3 days I had actually left the UK for over 6 months. And what 6 months they had been!

Jungles and savannahs, watervines and waterfalls, penguins and monkeys, ice glaciers and deserts, mountain climbing and mine digging, paragliding and rafting and much, much more that the past 186 blog posts can only try to convey. And underpinning it all was a tight menagerie of close friendships, both new and old from home and away; I thank you all for making it possible.

Realising I had not had a decent pint of bitter in over 6 months and becoming increasingly excited about seeing friends and family once again my last conscious thought before slumber was simply:
